Description Germano Massullo 2012-08-22 08:31:37 UTC
When you connect a Samsung Galaxy S2 with CyanogenMOD 9 ROM to your computer, it will be reconnized as PTP device, but for same strange reasons KDE puts it as Nikon D7000 subfolder (see attachment)
I have a Nikon D7000, but it was not connected the moment I connected the phone.
Dolphin also says:

"Unknown code error: 150
Impossible to find required device on USB port
Please report this bug"

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Connect the phone
2.Open Dolphin

Comment 3 Marcus Meissner 2012-08-23 06:39:24 UTC
do you have a nikon d7000 (previously attached at some time)? or did it just pop out at random?

As I wrote in the bugreport, I have a Nikon D7000 attached previously. The moment I took the screenshot, the Nikon D7000 was not connected to the computer

i have to test this :/

it must have somehow appeared on rewriuting the directory code to handle the "/" in the samsung filenames :/

Germano, Marcus: Could you test whether that's still an issue with recent versions? If so, please move the bugs to a Frameworks component.

(This might be related to Bug 308542 which also features a Galaxy SII, however someone with access to multiple devices should probably also test whether those are still mixed up.)
