Using tmux inside Dolphin's embedded Konsole.

Hi!

It would be awesome to have the same behaviour in Dolphin while browsing tons of files that I have in Chromium/Firefox while browsing webpages.

Let me explain: when browsing webpages, specially those very long, I do extensive use of SPACE key / SHIFT + SPACE combination to move the webpage forward/backwards - it's light years easier and faster than dragging the scroll bar and going up or down and also, while it's true I can use the mouse scroll wheel -specially with the browser's addon Smooth Wheel wich replicates tablet's swipes- it is often easier to just press SPACE / SHIFT-SPACE to navigate forward/backwards any given website and as a bonus my wrist thanks it a lot!

So, it would be wonderful to have this very same behaviour replicated in Dolphin, this way when I'm browsing a directory with thousands of files it's pretty quick and easy to scroll up and down: this functionality coupled with Dolphin's built-in smooth display mechanism to show files and directories -which is just gorgeous- would be incredible useful (and good looking).

Regarding KLook functionality: the scrolling SPACE BAR feature I request should only activate when:
1. there's no file or folder explicitly selected.
2. the mouse arrow is on a blank spot and not over a file or directory
3. the mouse arrow is over the scroll bar.
4. the mouse arrow is over any other area of Dolphin window.

This way every time a file or folder is selected (either by Control+Click, navigating files and folders through keyboard, just hovering mouse arrow over them, etc.) and we press the SPACE BAR a specific action should trigger:
A. for files, we have a quick look of it (a small thumbnail if it's an image, a glimpse of it's content if it's a plain text file, a quick play if it's an audio or video file, etc.)
B. for folders, we have a glimpse of it's contents

Finally: by letting us use SPACE BAR / SHIFT SPACE to navigate files by pressing it on a blank spot inside Dolphin's navigation area or just any other area of Dolphin that isn't a file or a folder and by adding a quick preview of the selected file or directory, triggered by the same SPACE BAR, I think we will have a whole new world of usability.

Just my 2 cents, Dolphin already rocks, thanks for that fine piece of software!
(BTW, the attachment is totally offtopic, but it illustrates how Dolphin rocks: running tmux inside it's embedded Konsole rocks!!)

Resetting assignee to default as per bug #305719

There are some great ideas here, but we need one issue/idea per bug report. Reviving KLook is definitely on the priority list. Unfortunately it is maintainerless right now, but we are actively looking for new maintainers.
