The file is not rendered properly.  It looses all of the column formatting when opened with Calligra Words.  The link given is to the BTS template for paper submissions to the IEEE.  

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.  Open http://bts.ieee.org/images/files/publications/transtemplate.doc
2.  Compare to MS Word 2003 or newer or to LibreOffice
3.
Actual Results:  
The file is improperly formatted in Words.

Expected Results:  
The file to closely match the formatting of MS Word.

It's a know and already reprted shortcoming that we don't support all kinds of columns yet. For the core there is bug 260141 and for the filter there is someother bug i can't remember.

But thanks for reporting anyway
