In a previous installation of KDE I had a bunch of bookmarks in Konqueror, so then I made a backup of them with Bookmark Editor. Now in my new installation of KDE, I had bookmarked some web pages in Konqueror. Then, today, when I wanted to recuperate my old bookmarks using the appointed backup, I lost those newest bookmarks because, Bookmark Editor, deleted them. In other words, I have lost my newest bookmarks when I have tried importing (from the backup) the oldest bookmarks. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Add some bookmarks in Konqueror. In Konqueror menu: Bookmarks > Add bookmark 2.Open Bookmark Editor. From Konqueror by Bookmarks > Edit Bookmarks... 3.Make a backup of the bookmarks. In Bookmark Editor menu: File > Save As... A .xml file will be created 4.Get a clean KDE configuration. Rename the .kde4 folder in home directory (for example .kde4-backup) 5.Leave the current KDE session. 6.Initiate a new KDE session. 7.Launch Konqueror and add some bookmarks. 8.Open Bookmark Editor and import the bookmarks included in the backup file (.xml) by File > Import KDE2 or KDE3 Bookmarks... (I know, this is not an .xml file created in KDE2 or KDE3, but in anyway, the whole process causes the lost of the newest bookmarks) Actual Results: The newest bookmarks are deleted Expected Results: The newest bookmarks are not deleted
