Description MASSUCHETTI Jonathan 2012-08-10 17:46:11 UTC
If you load a playlist from file explorer, it will play twice the track you selected first and then will jump to the third track.

If you use standard track progression :

I select (play) track 1, it will play it twice (but show the track 2 as the playing one), and then it will play the track 3

Same thing for random track progression but it follow Amarok's random list items order.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Load a playlist from file explorer (in Amarok)
2. Select a track (play it)
Actual Results:
Second track is jumped

Expected Results:
Second track is played

Let me guess: you use the phonon-backend-gstreamer 4.6.1? If yes, this is a known bug, already solved in the upcoming version 4.6.2, see bug 303580

FWIW: this has already been reported numerous times, and the bug can be found in the database

You're right, I searched ... unsuccessfully obviously !

*** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 303580 ***

Because you didn't search in the recently closed bugs, that is an error many people make because they assume that if they experience the bug it must be an open one :)
