From gmail gui, if i delete only the duplicate blank message , it deletes both of them. In gmail gui i see two messages, the first normally and the second blank, in kmail i have only one blank message
Does this have to do with the Filter scanning for viruses, by any chance? I had set up such a filter (using clamd and the Filter autoconfiguration wizard) and that filter made all incoming emails blank. (It didn't save the originals, though.) Luckily I switched the filter off after a few hours!
Excellent Christian! After disabled the spam filter i don't have any more duplicate blank messages. Thanks a million!
For information i had the bogofilter enabled
In my case this behaviour was caused by the clamd virus filter that was added by the automatic wizard. Maybe there's a bug in the "Pipe message through ..." code and it sometimes discards the result of the pipe-through?
