Description Leszek Lesner 2012-08-04 10:01:05 UTC
Rekonq is ignoring the default search engine setting in KDE 4.9 and asks everytime it starts to set the default engine.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Upgrade to KDE 4.9
2. Start rekonq

Actual Results:
It asks to set the default search engine. But this is already set. Even if you change it rekonq will not recognize it and does not allow searching in the adressbar

Expected Results:
It should recognize the default search engine set.

I recompiled rekonq 1.0 after I had KDE 4.9 installed. It does not change anything.

Btw. forget to mention that the .xsession-errors file gives this error output

rekonq(30533)/kdecore (services) KServiceFactory::findServiceByDesktopPath: "searchproviders/.desktop" not found
