Description Alin M Elena 2012-08-03 20:49:41 UTC
I usually keep few documents open in okular... and I use kde's restore session.
after the last update (kde trunk... something just after 4.9) okular gets restored only partially.
the number of instances of okular restored is correct but no documents are restored... so I end up with few empty okulars.

this is the same as bug https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=300985 which was fixed for a previous version
Alin

Reproducible: Always

This might look silly, but do you know how to make kde restore stuff on session? Right now i have it configured to restore nothing so can't test the bug :D
Comment 2 Alin M Elena 2012-08-09 22:44:35 UTC
simple...
system settings (configure desktop) -> startup and shutdown -> session management...

Sorry, but I can't reproduce the issue. Session restore works fine here, I tried both Okular v4.9.0 and master.
Apart from Okular, I have an old KDE 4.6.5 installation. Maybe it's something related to newer KDE versions?
Albert, does it work for you?
Comment 6 Albert Astals Cid 2012-08-10 18:46:49 UTC
Works perfectly here too.

Alin are you running Plasma as your desktop environment or something else?
Comment 7 Alin M Elena 2012-08-10 18:55:18 UTC
Hi,

I run plasma and kde trunk... daily updates... funnily enough it seems that these days updates cured the issue...
I logged out and in.. and seems to be correctly restored now.
I will see that it restores after restart too.
