Description Daniel Phillips 2012-08-02 09:54:18 UTC
When "Place an icon in system tray" is unchecked within Configure Behaviour the system tray icon is still displayed.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Uncheck "Place an icon in system tray"
2. Apply changes
3.
Actual Results:
System Tray Icon remains

Expected Results:
System Tray Icon should not appear

Also, there is an unwanted system tray entry created without an icon, but this has already been reported.

Changing the on/off setting currently only takes effect after restarting ktimetracker.

Hi Thorsten, I don't know if you receive notifications for reviewboard. I put this one up for review: https://git.reviewboard.kde.org/r/119606/.

hey, please commit, I trust you tested it. I need a weekend to get KDE to compile. And after the weekend my programming time has run off. In other words it will take an undefined amount of time until I can test the code. I do not want to be the obstacle so please commit.
Comment 5 Thorsten Staerk 2014-08-22 11:57:15 UTC
Can you commit?
Comment 6 Joris Steyn 2014-08-22 14:59:03 UTC
Yes I can, I'll take some time for that later today, thanks!

thank you, I feel a bit bad about it, but this is community - you cannot do everything :)

Well it seems our plans are foiled: http://quickgit.kde.org/?p=kdepim.git&a=commit&h=cd0ee7e149270ce17d5fdab95b19adc960b80ad8

KTimeTracker will not be part of KDE SC >= 4.15.

Hello! Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this project has been unmaintained for many years so I will be closing this bug.
