Description Martin Steigerwald 2012-07-30 08:27:29 UTC
I have setup telepathy on my workstation and then on my laptop. When connecting the jabber account from the notebook while it is connected on the workstation I get:

Beim Verbinden von […] ist ein Fehler aufgetreten - Somewhere there is another client connecting with your account and your current conn…

(An error occured while connecting to […])

and possibly a crash, but this does not happen all the time.

My expectation is that a jabber account can be logged in several times. This is how it works in Kopete. And its also possible to have the workstation using KDE Telepathy and the laptop use Kopete simulatenously with the same jabber account. Only Telepathy + Telepathy does not work.

Thanks,
Martin

Thanks, Daniele, using a different resource name works. I did not find a duplicate with my search terms.
