Description Helder 2012-07-26 12:51:24 UTC
Kate should say "no results found" when it doesn't found any result

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open a new document (on Kate 3.8.4 on Ubuntu 12.04)
2. Press CTRL+R to open the search & replace
3. Type "test" in the search field
4. Click on "find all"

Actual Results:
Kate says "1 result found"

Expected Results:
It should say "No results found" (since the document is empty)

Maybe it is a translation bug? Can you try with the english language? It works for me, too...
Comment 5 Dario Cambié 2012-07-29 16:08:20 UTC
Indeed I do think it's a translation error,

see: http://websvn.kde.org/*checkout*/trunk/l10n-kde4/pt/messages/kde-baseapps/katepart4.po

msgid "1 match found"
msgid_plural "%1 matches found"
msgstr[0] "%1 ocorrência encontrada"
msgstr[1] "%1 ocorrências encontradas"

shouldn't it be:

msgid "1 match found"
msgid_plural "%1 matches found"
msgstr[0] "1 ocorrência encontrada"
msgstr[1] "%1 ocorrências encontradas"

I'm not an *.po expert anyway..
