While playing a playlist, the song changes (in the playlist) and the right notification is showed, though the song does not really changes: it plays again the same song from the beginning. To correct it, I have to go to the previous song and then "next". In some rare occasions (~2% of time) it magically works as it should. This problem is happening since I updated Amarok (no idea of the previous version). I use Alsa with Archlinux, kernel 3.4.6-1-ARCH. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Add multiple tracks to the playlist 2. Play it 3. Wait until the song is played Actual Results: The same song is played again in "standard" mode, even if everything in the display changes to indicate the song have been changed. Expected Results: The next song in playlist shall be played. Computer: Intel Core2Duo x64 ; 4Gb DDR3 ; Audio chipset: VIA VT1718S ; Audio modules: snd_hda_intel + snd_hda_codec_via System: Archlinux (kernel 3.4.6-1-ARCH) ; Alsamixer
Which Phonon backend do you use? If it is the gstreamer backend version 4.6.1 this is a known regression, see also bug 303580
(In reply to comment #1) > Which Phonon backend do you use? If it is the gstreamer backend version > 4.6.1 this is a known regression, see also bug 303580 I use a gstreamer backend v4.6.1. Thanks for pointing that other bug report, I didn't noticed it (in fact, I focused on Amarok while the bug was coming from GStreamer). So, I suppose this bug is closed if another ticket handles it. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 303580 ***
