While playing a playlist, the song changes (in the playlist) and the right notification is showed, though the song does not really changes: it plays again the same song from the beginning. To correct it, I have to go to the previous song and then "next". In some rare occasions (~2% of time) it magically works as it should.
This problem is happening since I updated Amarok (no idea of the previous version).
I use Alsa with Archlinux, kernel 3.4.6-1-ARCH.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Add multiple tracks to the playlist
2. Play it
3. Wait until the song is played
The same song is played again in "standard" mode, even if everything in the display changes to indicate the song have been changed.
The next song in playlist shall be played.

Which Phonon backend do you use? If it is the gstreamer backend version 4.6.1 this is a known regression, see also bug 303580

I use a gstreamer backend v4.6.1. Thanks for pointing that other bug report, I didn't noticed it (in fact, I focused on Amarok while the bug was coming from GStreamer).
So, I suppose this bug is closed if another ticket handles it.
