I installed KDE as my DE in Archlinux and the kwallet is enabled by default, now I wanna turn it off,but I cannot find "system settings-->account details-->kde wallet" in my system to turn it off,so I asked my friend(a heavy addicted KDE user),he told me that I didn't install kde wallet manager which named "kdeutils-kwallet" in Archlinux,I installed and now I could turn it off,so does it designed like this or just a bug? Reproducible: Always
Not sure this is a bug. On first use of KWallet, a message box should open to ask you if you want to store information in the KWallet and set it up accordingly. Once the applications store passwords and other information in the wallet, it is unwise to disable it, because they might rely on the information stored there.
Well, there is actually an ongoing discussion about this issue on the kde-frameworks mailing list. I'd personally like to see them bundled together.
