Description Thomas Pfeiffer 2012-07-23 19:46:40 UTC
The image viewer could really use a function to rotate images.
Being able to save the rotated picture might be nice, but is not necessary. Rotating the view would be enough.

Of course the device can be rotated, but then the image still does not make optimal use of the screen.

If possible, this should be done with a rotating gesture with two fingers. Buttons should be used as an alternative on non-multitouch-devices.

An alternative solution could be to automatically display images so that they make optimal use of the screen space (i.e. align the long edge of the image to the long edge of the screen). This would save users the effort of having to manually rotate images.

Reproducible: Always
