Description Tom Chiverton 2012-07-18 21:10:06 UTC
power button has also been silently unconfigured from previous (working) behaviour

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. press power button
or
1. open system settings, choose power
2. go to the button events handling, 'when power button' selected option is now empty, and 'hibernate' is gone from the actions, ditto for lid close
Actual Results:
hibernates

Expected Results:
nothing

sudo pm-hibernate still works

this is an obvious data-loss bug, because now I could be expecting my laptop to do what it always does, and hibernate when I shut the lid, now it'll just run out of power and die

(expected and actual results inverted, sorry)
