My "small icons" size is either set to 32 or 48. In amarok there are some icons following the "small icons"' size but though the icons are big enough the space for them is not, they are truncated. If you want the icons to follow the "small icons" size please give them the appropriate space. If you don't want the space to grow because of the layout please limit the max. size of the icons to the max. space available (so if the "small icons" are set to e.g. 32 and you give only space for max. 22 please use size 22 so that the icons are always fully shown). Affected are the icons in the filebrowser, the collection and the header as far as I can see. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Set the "small icons" size in systemsettings to e.g. 48 2. examine amarok's ui 3. Actual Results: truncated icons Expected Results: either enough space for the icons or smaller icons (max. possible size for available space if "small icons" size is bigger than provided space)
Created attachment 72436 [details] screenshot with "small icons" in 48
A bit far fetched as 48x48 are by no means small icons, even if you call them so :) This is not a bug but a wish as this would need a design change.
> A bit far fetched as 48x48 are by no means small icons Well, for me and others they are as small as for you might be 22x22. And the default KDE SC icon theme, Oxygen, allows to set the so called "small icons" to 16, 22, 32, 48. And therefore the user can expect that it works in all KDE SC applications. If icons in an application make use of a certain "global" icon size setting the gui is expected to adjust to those icon size settings.
Not possible to set custom icon size in system settings any more (Plasma 6 ->): https://invent.kde.org/plasma/plasma-desktop/-/issues/58 so report not relevant anymore -> closing
