Creat pdf latex document 3. Compile with pdflatex 4. Choose PreviewPDF Actual Results: View is not synced Expected Results: View should be synced Compiled from source beginning May. I can not remember that it ever worked with PreviewPDF. Sync view, however, works with Live Preview. Settings for PreviewPDF Library: okularpart Library class: Okular::Part I will check on a windows machine and report back.
I cannot comment on kile on windows. The version I have there was installed from binary and does not have the sync feature. (Version 2.9.60 Using KDE Development Platform 4.8.00 (4.8.0))
Sorry, I don't understand what you mean with "PreviewPDF". Do you maybe mean "ForwardPDF"?
Alt + 7 is mapped to "PreviewPDF". This shows the pdflatex (Alt + 6) compiled .pdf in the document viewer on the right. I looks the same as with live preview, but its not automatically updated. You have to manually choose pdflatex or Alt + 6 to recompile.
This must have been fixed in some recent release. Synchronization is working for me. Therefore closing this bug.
