RAWs are not converted successfully if their originating path contains special characters like German umlauts. Moreover, the cause of the problem is not visible in the GUI or the console output.

What's the console output exactly ?

Can you test with dngconverter/tests/raw2dng command line tool to see if the problem is located in core converter implementation ?

I think this file have been fixed with your patch applied for 4.7.0 through bug #310580. Right ?

Yes, DNG converter works with German umlauts in the album name and file name.
