GPX seems to be a common file type for exchanging tracks. Therefore, if Marble supported exporting tracks to .gpx files, tracks could be exchanged with other applications and web services (e.g. OSM). Reproducible: Always
On a similar note, importing GPX would be handy as well.
exporting a route to GPX is possible in marble 1.7.0 1) make a route by selecting "direction from here" and "direction to here" 2) route is displayed if possible 3) right click on route - export route 4) choose GPX and save it marble in general has no other ways to deal with mroe complex structures than just single coordinates you can mark, also no bookmarks or coordinates can be exported - however opening them works fine (File/Open, choose GPX file, route is opened and displayed)
You can export bookmarks in the Bookmark Manager ("Export Bookmarks..." button).
Routing panel open file only offers KML files which is annoying when exporting defaults to GPX files Marble version 2.2.1
