When I try to access the connected camera from Gwenview, as suggested by the USB icon in the system tray, Gwenview displays a couple of folders. When I click in any of them, I get: Error code 150 unknown, bad parameters. Please, send a report from bugs.kde.org. In screenshots: http://image.bayimg.com/oapkfaadi.jpg http://image.bayimg.com/oapkhaadi.jpg http://image.bayimg.com/oapkjaadi.jpg Reproducible: Always The camera is a Canon A2200. lsusb reports it as: Bus 001 Device 014: ID 04a9:322a Canon, Inc.
This seems to bee a bug in libgphot, which version of it are you using? can you try with the last one? Thanks and sorry for the delay on replying!
The version was probably 2.4.14, and the package has not been upgraded in Chakra since, but I see there are newer versions. However, currently I do not have access to the system or the camera, and I don’t trust the actual users of those to safely upgrade the system, or build a newer version of libgphot and rebuild the packages depending on it if needed. I will reopen the bug report with further information as soon as I get access to the device again and can try upgrading libgphot. That will be some months from now, exactly a week before the Akademy, so don’t hold your breath on it ;) Thanks for the help!
Hehe thanks for the feedback !

OK, I’ve retested the camera with the latest Kubuntu, and it works out of the box :)
