Description José JORGE 2012-07-03 06:24:40 UTC
I am using an enterprise squid proxy with login/passwd. I can access http sites without rewriting them thanks to kwallet use, even after a reboot. I could also for https sites with KDE 4.2 to 4.4 .

Now with 4.8 akregator keeps asking me proxy login after each reboot : the login window is even not prefilled.

I tried to remove all akregator config file, but nothing changes.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Hard step : use a network that does not allow direct internet connection, only through a squid proxy with login
2. Add an atom feed in https like https://linuxfr.org/news.atom
2. Asks for login, check "remeber login"
3.It keeps asking it after logout/login

This bug has only been reported for versions before 4.14, which have been unsupported for at least two years now. Can anyone tell if this bug still present?

If noone confirms this bug for a Framework-based version of akregator (version 5.0 or later, as part of KDE Applications 15.08 or later), it gets closed in about three months.

Just as announced in my last comment, I close this bug. If you encounter it again in a recent version (at least 5.0 aka 15.08), please open a new one unless it already exists. Thank you for all your input.
