Description Germano Massullo 2012-06-27 15:51:03 UTC
This report is about https://bugs.kde.org/ I choosed www.kde.org since I did not find a proper component.

In bugzillas like Red Hat one, names of developers are marked in a different way between all the users. This will help contributing users to better understand if they are speaking to a developer or not.
I think it will be very usefull to implement it in KDE bugzilla

IIRC both bugzilla.mozilla.org and bugs.gnome.org has this, so there's a plugin probably already available. The one in BMO would probably be a better (or easier to implement) pick as the Gnome bugzilla installation is heavily customized in other parts too.

https://wiki.mozilla.org/Bugzilla:Addons#Bugzilla_Extensions does not list anything interesting. Can you please see if you can find a plugin that could be used?

You can ask Red Hat guys that have this feature enabled
Comment 5 Philippe Cloutier 2019-07-18 01:52:11 UTC
What would you define as a developer? Is there a list of all developers somewhere?
Comment 6 Nate Graham 2022-09-02 16:38:10 UTC
Yeah, there's a list of people with developer accounts somewhere.
Comment 7 Justin Zobel 2023-09-26 09:53:17 UTC
This could be used https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=904801 it appears we can apply custom CSS based on group membership.
