Description rmcknight 2012-06-27 09:36:29 UTC
this also existed on 2.5

digikam knows there are more images as the (count) even says there are more in the folder.

i have searched and searched to no prevail.
if i open the folder in a file manager it shows all the pics correctly. but not in the right hand side.
this is not a crash - and possibly not even a bug, as its the sort of thing that may have a setting for it somewhere.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open a sub-folder
2. note the number of images presented
3. run a slideshow with the option "with all sub-folders" and more images are shown (even though there are NO sub-folders). OR just note the folder count of the images in (brackets) differs to the count on the top of the window.
Actual Results:
not all images are shown in right hand window

Expected Results:
all images in the folder should be shown (just like if you open the folder in dolphin).

i know you are thinking im clicking on a higher level folder, but im not. Its a filder i just created and uploaded all my images into. But i have noted that this has occured in several other places as well.

Mystery solved, i found the settings in the "editing images" setup.
Very poor placement, they should be in the "album view" as they effect whats shown in the "album view". I wonder if you should put it in both?

i marked it as fixed, but its not ideal.
