crashes right in the driver. As the backtrace is rather incomplete we cannot actually see whether it's a duplicate.

Best ensure that unredirection of fullscreen windows is disabled in the advanced compositing settings. We have seen in the past quite some issues with that in combination with intel driver.
Comment 2 carlo 2012-06-26 18:10:57 UTC
Unredirection is disabled.
I have found a way to reproduce it:
-Start system (effects ON)
-Disable effects
-Open, then maximize firefox --> Crash
Can i do something to make this report better?
Comment 3 Martin Flöser 2012-06-26 18:22:26 UTC
Sorry, it crashes in the driver. There is nothing we can do about that. That's what RESOLVED UPSTREAM means: not our problem. You would have to install debug packages (no idea how to do that on your distribution) and report the bug on freedesktop.org.
Comment 4 carlo 2012-06-26 18:28:37 UTC
I understand. Thank you!

/that/ s certainly not the same crash.
if kwin (not FF) reproducibly crashes for this behavior (notably anything that crashes as reaction to sth. after composting has been disabled) please ensure to install debug packages for kdelibs & kde-workspace and file a (new) bug with the backtrace.
Comment 6 carlo 2012-06-26 18:49:46 UTC
I'm sorry but it's my first bug report.
I'm doing some tests and In my case kwin crashes all the times if i disable effects and MINIMIZE an application (FF, Kmail, dolphin).
I'll install debug packages and i'll do a new bug report.
