I have set my presence status to invisible. The "Auto away" feature is enabled, and after 5 minutes of inactivity my accounts are set to "Away" (so basically I become visible). This feature should only be working when one is "Online" and not for any other presence status. Reproducible: Always
We've decided that auto away should affect both 'online' and 'busy' as 'away' is more unavailable than busy. From bug https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=302508 you're actually busy when you think you're invisible - and this bug is just a manifestation of that.
In other words - we don't set you to away if you actually are invisible ;)
David, I updated bug 302508 so check my last comment. I am actually invisible when I set it to invisible. It's only the presence plasmoid status set to 'Busy' and all of the accounts are changing to busy only when I click on it to open the KDE IM Contacts. So this might be a different bug? Well not really. The thing that matters is the internal presence, which in your case is actually 'Busy'. But don't worry, we are aware of the whole situation and we want to have it solved for 0.5.
Thanks Martin :) (In reply to comment #4) > Well not really. The thing that matters is the internal presence, which in > your case is actually 'Busy'. But don't worry, we are aware of the whole > situation and we want to have it solved for 0.5.
