Description Vincent 2012-06-23 13:56:08 UTC
I tried to import the following class, and umbrello froze with 100% CPU usage
// $Id: md5.h 607 2010-05-25 16:17:25Z vincent $
// MD5.CC - source code for the C++/object oriented translation and
//          modification of MD5.

  static void memcpy    (uint1 *dest, uint1 *src, uint4 length);

  static inline void   II  (uint4& a, uint4 b, uint4 c, uint4 d, uint4 x,
			    uint4 s, uint4 ac);

};

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. create a new project
2. import md5.h class header file
3. freezes
Actual Results:
none

This behavior is reproducable with umbrello-4.8.90_20120617 from opensuse unstable repo http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/KDE:/Extra/openSUSE_11.4_KDE_Unstable_SC/.

*** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 302671 ***
Comment 4 Ralf Habacker 2012-07-07 08:47:20 UTC
The root cause is a bug in the c++ parser not been able to handle escape sequences in preprocessor defines, which let the parse freeze on importing /usr/include/wchar.h

A workaround is to remove the included header before importing.
