I was wondering why my battery only lastet 30 minutes although the power drain was 9W which was normal. The batteyr applet reported 62% battery. After I ran upower -d I found out that my battery only had 12% left. The battery plasmoid did not update all the time. It only updated when I restarted plasma.

Did you suspend/resume at some point? Then this is a duplicate of bug 287952
