Description Arllen Alves 2012-06-22 01:01:35 UTC
If I have two or more files that I want to rename into a directory, is very normal to rename one by one pushing F2 key, typing the new name, RETURN key to confirm and ARROW KEYS to navigate to the next one.
The bug is exactly when I try to navigate to other file to rename it too. The highlight selection around the file don't move when I push the arrow key.
I have everytime to click in the blank area of window to be able to navigate the highlight selection to others files.
If I have 100 files, I'll need 100 clicks!! Rename one, click, navigate to next, rename, click, navigate...

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Dolphin
2. Choose folder with a lot of files
3. Start to rename one by one
Actual Results:
The same bug as I reported above.

Expected Results:
Well, the stable dolphin version from KDE SC 4.8 works very well. Navigate and rename using only keyboard (no need to click), if I want to.

I could define this bug as a MINOR SEVERITY, but I don't have no workaround! The correction need some coding corrections.
That's all folks!
