Description Steve 2012-06-15 09:27:08 UTC
Dolphin crashes to desktop EVERYTIME I try to access the windows shares on a remote pc thats connected via Hamachi VPN.

I found a work around though, if I connect via smb://IP-address/share dolphin automatically appends username@ to the IP-address which seems to fix the issue.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Connect VIA Hamachi VPN
2. Try to access a windows computer using smb://IP-address
3. Rinse, Repeat
Actual Results:
Crash To Desktop

Expected Results:
Show The Shares Present On The Windows PC

dolphin (2.2) on KDE Platform 4.10.00 using Qt 4.8.2

- What I was doing when the application crashed:

I tried to open the root SAMBA share of a remote computer in a VPN (OpenVPN) network.
In Dolphin's address bar, I typed the following:
smb://172.16.0.67/
which is the remote computer's IP.
After pressing Intro, it crashed: closed the Dolphin's window and opened the Bug Report dialog.
