Description Kristóf Kiszel 2012-06-13 15:20:58 UTC
If the user try to install e.g Rocs, an authorization dialog appears to ask for the user's password. In this dialog all strings are translated except the „Install or remove packages” string which comes from the org.kubuntu.qaptworker.policy file.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Muon
2. Select Rocs to be installed
3. Click on Apply changes
Actual Results:
A PolKit authorization dialog appears with the untranslated „Install or remove packages” string.

Expected Results:
„Install or remove packages” is replaces with the actual translation.

Sorry it took so long.

The cause of this was that the way KDE handles PolicyKit action translation is to actually use a generalized KAuth action file, that can be used to generate platform-specific (windows, mac, policykit) action files. Since LibQApt is a Qt-only library, up until QApt2 the actions were stored as a policykit action file. For QApt2 I've included an optional KAuth actions file used when LibQApt is compiled on a machine with KDE. The Script Kiddie bot will integrate the KAuth actions file in to the KDE translations frame work. I plan on syncing the translated KAuth-generated PolicyKit policy file for installation on systems building LibQApt without KDE before each release.
