Since in 4.9 we can now link files to Activities it would make sense to make this feature more obvious by placing an "Activities" link into the Places panel.
(If this is not possible due to string-freeze or feature-freeze at least put the "activities" kio slave in the kio slave selection menu on the top level and not in the "others" submenu)
