When I use kde-telepathy (0.4 archlinux packages as specified before) I am not able to perform neither an audio or a video call whenever my gmail account is not open in the web browser. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Simply open kde-telepathy and close all the web browser instances. 2. 3. Actual Results: The audio and video calls are disabled. Expected Results: Whenever the software is properly connected to the server, I expect that I can perform a video or an audio call.
[18:15] <d_ed> it's a combination of 2 bugs working together [18:16] <d_ed> KTp doesn't say you can do calls, and the contact list has a check "can the other person do calls and can I do calls" (using selfContact()->capabilities() ) [18:16] <d_ed> when you're in gmail it says "I an do calls"
Is this still the case? Seems to be working correctly in master. Can you check with 0.5.2?
I think this is the gabble-hack-private we ship. Works for me too.
