I thought I'd try and create an activity for when I use Windows within Virtual Box, but the settings which I would like to customise don't seem to be constrainable within an activity. I thought it would be good to either remove the taskbar entirely, or have it auto-hide. Usually, I like the taskbar on the left, and always visible, but it looks silly when I've also got the windows taskbar right next to it. Also, it would make the virtual OS's desktop that little bit bigger. It would also be good to disable the Kwin keyboard shortcuts, either when in this activity, or when VirtualBox is the active window. For some reason, keyboard capturing in the virtual OS isn't working with KWin-configured shortcuts, so commands like Alt+tab are captured by KDE, and not by the Virtual OS. I think the virtualbox guest additions has something to do with that... So the features I wish to add to the wishlist:- 1) Activity-specific keyboard shortcuts 2) Activity-specific Task Manager Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Using virtualbox (v4.1.12) from virtualbox's debian precise ppa. Also installed: virtualbox-qt, virtualbox-guest-additions-iso Windows 7 64bit guest OS. Ubuntu x86_64 host OS with KDE 4.8.3.
The first half of this wish is a duplicate of https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=292094 (sh**, I've just posted this and it doesn't show up anywhere, where has is gone?)
