Description Radek Novacek 2012-06-12 08:29:28 UTC
When no optical drives are found, k3b suggests to run HAL daemon:

No optical drive found.
K3b did not find any optical device in your system.
Solution: Make sure HAL daemon is running, it is used by K3b for finding devices.

The suggested solution is wrong and confusing because k3b don't use HAL for device discovery any more.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start k3b on machine without optical drive (i.e. virtual machine)

Actual Results:
"Make sure HAL daemon is running, it is used by K3b for finding devices.".

Expected Results:
Other or none suggestion.
