When chat plasmoid is used all notifications are disabled. This includes both graphical and sound notifications.

Reproducible: Always



Expected Results:  
Give option to enable notifications, probably best way would be by system settings notification menu.

We definitely need to do something. I don't want the notifications and our plasmoid appearing all getting in the way of each other.

This is moving to the message-filters at which point we get this automatically.

"but then won't we get notifications twice?"

the plugin should only do this for channels are being handled. 
Right not this info doesn't quite exist, but it will soon in the text ChannelPtr. This should be thought about, but don't stress over it.
