When pressing Cancel during the setup wizard, the wizard just proceeds to the next page. The resulting config file is weird, though. It seems it contains some standard values.

It is not clear to me what was meant under "setup wizard". I guess in 2012 the initial setup had some gui dialog to choose the folder to setup with cancel button.
Anyway, the bug is unmaintained, closing.

This is about kdesrc-build-setup script. Not sure about its support state, but I could reproduce the "ignored cancel" behavior.

`kdesrc-build-setup` was deleted with this commit: https://invent.kde.org/sdk/kdesrc-build/-/commit/036f5092adc382e3cc0e4c5a4946b1dbcb10ec03
Use `kdesrc-build --generate-config` instead.
