KDE crashed I agreed to allow a bug report to be submitted It requested I install debug libraries. I agreed and they were installed a traceback was generated. It required a kde bug tracking login .. I created one (digkam crashed again in the background , now there are two bug tracker windows) When I hit the logon is said connection refused , so all my bug reports are lost. [ my suspicion is that you are not honouring the proxy settings and attempting a direct logon?] Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Get a crash in something 2. allow a bug report to be raisd 3. click the logon button on the bug tracker window. Actual Results: reports connection refused. Expected Results: I guess it should logon and file a bug ... never seen it happen yet so cannot be sure. I gess most folks would have given up by this stage an not bothered with a bug report, so you are probably under-reporting by quite a lot.
I'm afraid your suspicion of porxy is correct.
(In reply to comment #1) > I'm afraid your suspicion of porxy is correct. DrKonqi uses KIO for every operation. Therefore, KIO's proxy settings should be honored. If konqueror can connect, drkonqi can connect too.
OK, I just try it again and Drkonqi works fine for me with https proxy. Please double check your proxy settings and make sure you can access bugs.kde.org in konqueror/rekonq using proxy . Note bugs.kde.org only accept https connection .
