With tooltip i meant the short info tooltip. It also crashes when i enable the sidebar that displays file infos.

Thanks for the report. The root-cause of this crash is an incompatible Soprano version and affects all applications that use a specific service.

Current stable soprano (2.7.6) also can cause these issues in combination with kde-4.8.4.

Or search the reports since 4.8.4-release for kmail and gwenview
I had kmail, gwenview, dolphin crashing, soprano was the most recent stable release. The new Soprano::Socket class fixes all those issues.
