Since Virtuoso's frequent cpu frenzy is getting on my nerves, I completely disabled Nepomuk and its indexer. Now I still have all the additional information displayed in my view and I also cannot remove them (the checkboxes are disabled)
The information should not be removed (ie. removed from the .directory file) but just not displayed, in case you re-enable Nepomuk someday.
