Description Johannes Wienke 2012-06-03 20:09:42 UTC
From time to time I am getting disconnected from the ICQ network for whatever reasons. Until a few versions this never was a real problem for me, because the ICQ plugin reconnected automatically if the global status was online. This has stopped since a few versions and I manually have to reconnect ICQ over and over again. I would like to have the old behavior back.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Switch globally to online
2. Wait until disconnected from ICQ due to some error, e.g. by unplugging the network for a few seconds
Actual Results:
Disconnected but no reconnect

Expected Results:
Automatically reconnected

The same situation in Kubuntu 12.04

Do you know last version where reconnect worked?

Can you provide debug output of kopete when auto reconnect not working? (Hint: Enable Debug output in kdebugdialog)

Dear user, unfortunately Kopete is no longer maintained.

Please migrate to another solution, e.g. for Jabber a possibility is Kaidan, for Matrix a candidate is NeoChat.
