Hello there, My work flow is the following: - I'm subscribed to a podcast channel in amarok (http://www.fritz.de/podcasts/sendungen/Blue_Moon.feed.podcast.xml) - The save location is set to a location that is scanned by the local collection (/home/user/Music/podcasts/Blue Moon) - The sorting options in my Local Collection is set to: 1st level -> Album Name, 2nd level -> None, 3rd level -> None - Browsing the podcast channel I'm downloading one or more podcast episodes - When the downloads are finished I switch to my Local Collection and from there I want to copy my local collection to an usb device for offline listening. Unfortunately the downloaded episodes wont appear in my Local Collection. I have to change the group/sort settings to include the Artist Name or restart Amarok to make them appear. The same applies for my mp3 device (usb device). After selecting my local collection and click 'copy collection', the collection on my usb device wont refresh in Amarok until I restart Amarok. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1. Subscribed to a podcast channel in amarok (http://www.fritz.de/podcasts/sendungen/Blue_Moon.feed.podcast.xml) 2. Set the save location to a location that is scanned by the local collection 3. Set the sorting options in Local Collection to: 1st level -> Album Name, 2nd level -> None, 3rd level -> None 4. Download one or more podcast episodes and wait till the download finishes Actual Results: The downloaded episodes won't show up in Local Collection. Expected Results: The downloaded episodes should appear in my Local Collection. I'm not sure but it seems is has to with the mp3 tags. I have the idea that once the Artist is set fine the episodes do show up. Furthermore I see that sometimes, when the Artist is blank in the downloaded mp3's, the Collection Browser shows 'Unknown Artist' and sometimes just nothing, or better a blank Artist Name (though not sure if that behavior is related to the issue I'm reporting).
Which Amarok version do you use?
Sorry, 2.5 from openSuse repos.
Thank you for the fast feedback.
This one seems to be resolved in the shiny new Amarok 2.6 and KDE 4.9 (openSuse), very cool. I'm closing my report.
