I found a problem with typing (and only that) Polish diacritic symbols in Kile. I couldn't type ś (right alt + s), ę (right alt + e) and ó (right alt + o). I found that none of shortcuts utilize this specific combination. Some of them used Shift + alt + S. I thought to myself: "Naaah, the program couldn't possibly be that stupid to mistake these two! Right? .... Right?" After manually removing all of aforementioned shortcuts, it worked. It would be great if this issue were fixed. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Try typing right Alt + a, , c l, z, x - should work. 2.Try typing right Alt + s, e, o - shouldn't work. 3. Remove all shortcuts involving alt and above letters. 4. Now it should work. Actual Results: It worked! Expected Results: The software should know that I use these combinations to type Polish letters.

AFAIR, I installed Kile like a year ago, and had to deal with the shortcuts again. Just make sure to create a different set of shortcuts if the installer detects I'm using Polish language settings, easy.
I have installed Kile this week and confirm that the problem with typing Polish letters ś (right alt + s), ę (right alt + e) and ó (right alt + o) is still unsolved.
