Description Timothy Tuck 2012-05-29 04:32:02 UTC
Application: kmix (4)
KDE Platform Version: 4.8.2 (4.8.2)
Qt Version: 4.8.1
Operating System: Linux 3.2.0-24-generic x86_64
Distribution: Ubuntu 12.04 LTS

-- Information about the crash:
- What I was doing when the application crashed: I will be listening to online radio (does not appear to matter which app im using) and audio will change going from 5.1 using built-in audio device to use GF116 HDMI Audio controller. This sounds like its played through a blown out tweeter with no mids or bass. Opening phonon and changing from the 5.1 setting to analog stereo used to just drop me back to regular stereo and fix the audio, now it goes silent, upon reselecting the 5.1output + analog sereo input audio returns but kmix will crash. sometimes kmix crashes when profile is changed to analog stereo

- Unusual behavior I noticed:
The HDMI audio controller is getting auto selected even though I have it setup with a profile of off. yet for some reason I have not yet been able to pinpoint this will happen a couple of times a week, I am open to trying anything to make it go away.

System is a clean install of 12.04 can supply any additional info required

The crash can be reproduced every time.
