I have the latest wordpress version. 3.3.2. Wordpress I created a post in Blogilo and pressed Submit --> Publish On my blog, I can see that it is SCHEDULED (but not published) with a time stamp which seems to be right. from my web browser: Status: Scheduled Edit Visibility: Public Edit Scheduled for: May 27, 2012 @ 23:23 Edit Then I went to my blog and created a different post from within my browser. I hit publish, and it published instantly with the timestamp Status: Published Edit Visibility: Public Edit Published on: May 27, 2012 @ 23:24 Edit In Blogilo, I went and manually changed the date stamp to one hour ago. In browser I see that the change has been made to the timestamp, but its status is still scheduled and not published. In Blogilo, I went and manually changed the date stamp to yesterday. It published successfully and is no longer in the Scheduled status. By the way, I suspect this would be easy to test, but if you need access to my weblog to see it in action, let me know Robert Nagle idiotprogrammer@gmail.com By the way, thanks for working on this tool! Did you check if timezone is the same on the server and client machines? We had this issue when timezones are different, so, Wordpress saw a later time for publishing post, and schedule it.
Within the wordpress app itself, I see that the time zone is set to UTC -5 (CDT). in ubuntu command line i see robert@kundera-linux:~$ date Sun May 27 23:57:16 CDT 2012 Remember that I mentioned changing the date stamp from blogilo 1 hour or even 2 hours did not seem to make a difference. -- even though changing the date did make a difference.
I am still having this same problem. The timezones on both my local system, and the remote system are the same - and the time is only seconds off. I've been testing many different blogging tools, and by far Blogilo is the most feature-rich. As this issue seems to be posted all around the net, and no resolution seems to be able to be found for some users, could an option to publish immediately not be created? Drivel, which is a competing product, and by far very inferior (doesn't even set the category properly), can at least post immedately without scheduling. Please fix this bug, as this piece of software is the only viable solution for blog editing/updating on Linux that I have found. Client: Ubuntu 14.04 Blogilo 1.1 Server (self-hosted): Ubuntu Server: 13.10 Apache 2.4.6 Wordpress 3.9.1 Thanks! Jay

As blogilo is now archived/marked unmaintained in Gitlab, I am updating all open tickets. If a maintainer is found, feel free to reopen these tickets when working on them. Gitlab Repo: https://invent.kde.org/unmaintained/blogilo
