I tuned gamma settings in system settings -> Display settings -> Gamma. When i resume from suspend or after login, i see default gamma. Just opening a window of gamma settings in system settings restores gamma to my settings. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Set your own gamma settings in kcm 2. Suspend 3. Resume from suspend Actual Results: Gamma settings reset to default Expected Results: Gamma settings persists I saved gamma settings with "Save system settings systemwide" checked as well as unchecked. I just do not know how to determine kcm_kgamma version. I am ready to provide any additional information on request.
KDE is 4.8.3 from kubuntu ppa.
For the logout case, this is bug 268174. Regarding suspend, I am not sure how/if we can restore the gamma table on resume.
