What version of KDE are you using ? What browser engine (webkit or khtml) ? You can check for the browser engine by going to Settings->Configure Konqueror and looking up the "Default web browser engine" entry.
Presently I am using KDE 4.9.00 engine used : KHTML (no other possibility) Between report bug and no demand my KDE version has changed but also the web site as now I collect a "404" error message when tryng this URL. No way to check anything regarding this bug report but now going to "http://www.pluzz.fr" I get a message saying that flash 11.3 is expected ; as Adobe has said that there won't be anything more than 10.2 proposed to Linux users what do we do?
(In reply to comment #2) > Presently I am using KDE 4.9.00 > engine used : KHTML (no other possibility) Since you have ubuntu, you have to install the "kpart-webkit" package to get the webkit engine option. > Between report bug and no demand my KDE version has changed but also the web > site as now I collect a "404" error message when tryng this URL. Right. It shows 404 in other browsers as well. > No way to check anything regarding this bug report but now going to > "http://www.pluzz.fr" I get a message saying that flash 11.3 is expected ; > as Adobe has said that there won't be anything more than 10.2 proposed to > Linux users what do we do? The only choice seems to use Chromium for that site. None of the other browsers will work. I am curious what they do for iphone users that visit that site. iOS does not support flash at all. When I get a chance, I will check to see if adding a fake user-agent string that pretends to be iphone/ipad web browser would help. Other than using Chromium that is the only option that I think might work.
ok I have installed "kpart-webkit" package to get the webkit engine option ; now what suche advantages the webkit" engine offers compared to KHTML engine. Now something very important : to get in the KDE suite a very good navigator capable to challenge Chromium, Firefox is, I assume, quite difficult but to get two (Konqueror + Rekong ) for that challenge will be impossible ; we simply need one but a good one. Thanks for your help.
