- What I was doing when the application crashed:

I'm using Lubuntu but occasionally use kmix to use its feature of moving an active playback stream to another device. Currently kmix crashes when I try to start it though. pavucontrol works without problems.

The crash can be reproduced every time.

kmix (4) on KDE Platform 4.8.2 (4.8.2) using Qt 4.8.1

I started kmix. After a while it crashes. If I start it, I can use it 10 seconds. But it crashed always.

The issue is fixed in KDE 4.8.3 , see Bug 290742 .
