If I build up my thumbnial-database, it takes me forever- 101 hours!!! If I start again(!) builing thumbnails, I get a question "search" or "complete again". As I built the thumbs just before (in 101 hours), thumbs should be availble completely. Digikam starts up working for hours and hours. Therefore, I conclude from this observation, that thumbnail creation does not work properly. Looks like building thumbnail-database again. Reproducible: Always

Terminal produces this information: ak@blacky:~$ digikam QSqlDatabasePrivate::removeDatabase: connection 'ConnectionTest' is still in use, all queries will cease to work. DigiKam acquires more and more space, after longish 8 minutes it asks for 3,3 GB... increasing.... After 12 minutes, digikam starts up. Axel
