Description Gabriel 2012-05-17 20:59:43 UTC
I have a PDF file in A4 page size. If I set 100% view in Okular the sized displayed is too small. The correct size for a A4 page is around 128%

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open a PDF file with A4 page size
2. Set zoom to 100%
3.
Actual Results:
Displayed zoom is too small.

Expected Results:
100% zoom should be the exact same size as an actual A4 page.

Is your display's DPI setting calibrated correctly?
Comment 2 Albert Astals Cid 2012-05-17 22:14:10 UTC
This is a dupe of some other bug, we assume 72 dpi afair

DPI settings in KDE
Comment 4 Gabriel 2012-05-17 22:32:20 UTC
I had the DPI setting by default (see attachment, PPP=DPI) Is this correct?

I also tried checking that setting and selected the DPI to 72, 96 and 120 but it only changed the font size in Okular. The zoom remained the same (too small)
Comment 5 Albert Astals Cid 2012-05-17 22:34:15 UTC
That's font dpi not screen dpi, has nothing to do.
Comment 6 Gabriel 2012-05-18 00:06:01 UTC
Sorry, don't know much about DPI settings.

Shouldn't Okular detect my DPI and adjust itself? Evince displays the 100% zoom correctly.
Comment 7 Albert Astals Cid 2012-05-21 17:17:32 UTC
Yes it should, didn't you read comment #2? I said there it's a known bug, been reported already.

Ok. Nice attitude by the way.

May I ask what the current status of this bug is? I am using okular 0.15.5 and still suffering from this bug. Thanks.
