Description Victor Varvaryuk 2012-05-17 14:01:28 UTC
If i changes settings to show free space information in the status bar, it's too big for the amount of info it provides

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Check Dolphin -> Preferences -> General -> Status Bar -> Show space information

Actual Results:
A big widget is shown in the status bar, too big

Expected Results:
It may much less for the info it provides, so big filenames would be seen

Resetting assignee to default as per bug #305719

Would a "simple mode" which gives the text without the surrounding graphic satisfy this bug?

Free space information in Dolphin isn't shown properly

Dolphin offers insufficient space to display free disk space information

[answering as CC'ed user] yes, that would do the trick -- also see the other comment with attached screen shot. It should say "1.0 TiB beschikbaar", but this clearly doesn't fit.

The UI for this feature has been re-done, and it's no longer an issue.
